Ephesians 2:4 - But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us…
1 John 4:7 - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
1 John 4:8 - He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

If we fully grasp the magnitude of God’s love and understand that it defines a large part of His character, then we begin to understand why He would send His only Son Jesus to the cross in order to reconcile us back to Him, removing the obstacle of sin that was between us and God from the time that Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden. And knowing God’s great love, we should understand why He wants us to emulate Him in this love (as He guides us, gives us power, and teaches us how to be loving people during our lifelong training program). We should also understand that love should define our every motive, underlie every purpose in our actions, should be present in abundance at the root of our very character, and should guide our daily business in how we treat those around us throughout the day.
Leviticus 19:18 - Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I [am] the LORD.

John 15:10 - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Romans 13:8-10 -- Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
1 John 5:3 - For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
2 John 1:6 - And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
I pray that you would be filled with His Love and His Power so that you can all be His Ambassadors to the world, being a good example of the love of your God.
